Mission and Aims
Mission Statement
To facilitate the provision of quality sport and recreation opportunities to member school students as a medium that:
• upholds values of tolerance, respect, acceptance, service, equality and commitment
• recognizes and celebrates our differences and gifts
• has implicit health and social benefits
• Promotes and engenders healthy active lifestyles.
Constitutional Aim
The aim of the Association is to promote the ideals of Christian education among the students attending member schools by encouraging mutual respect and acceptance through the provision of sporting, social and recreational activities.
The ACC aims at providing a sporting function which gives students of all abilities the opportunity to participate in their chosen sport and to represent their school in accordance with the main aims of the ACC’s Constitution. It specifically caters for those students who do not easily gain selection in the general stream of teams.
It is the aim of the ACC to conduct a series of carnivals, providing annual competition in accordance with its Constitution. It also aims at providing a culmination to athletics conducted in physical education programmes, giving individuals the opportunity to further develop their skills whilst representing their school.

The Association aims at conducting a cross country carnival which provides students with the opportunity to participate and to represent their school in accordance with the main aims of the Constitution of the ACC.
Inter-School Sport
COASTAL ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (CAS) - it is the aim of the Coastal Associated Schools, as a Sub-Association of the Associated and Catholic Colleges, to conduct interschool sport, encouraging participation, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
NORTH WESTERN ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (NWAS) - it is the aim of the North Western Associated Schools, as a division of the Associated & Catholic Colleges, to further develop an interschool sporting competition, promoting participation, sportsmanship, leadership and socialisation amongst students.
NORTHERN ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (NAS) - it is the aim of the Northern Associated Schools, as a Sub-Association of the Associated and Catholic Colleges, to conduct interschool sport, encouraging participation, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
ROCKINGHAM AND KWINANA ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (RKAS) - it is the aim of the Rockingham & Kwinana Associated Schools, as a Sub-Association of the Associated & Catholic Colleges, to provide an interschool sporting competition, promoting participation, sportsmanship, leadership and socialisation amongst students.
SOUTHERN ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (SAS) Senior- it is the aim of the Southern Associated Schools, as a Sub-Association of the Associated & Catholic Colleges, to provide an interschool sporting competition, promoting participation, sportsmanship, leadership and socialisation amongst students.
SOUTHERN ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS (SASJ) Junior - it is the aim of the Southern Associated Schools, as a Sub-Association of the Associated & Catholic Colleges, to provide an interschool sporting competition, promoting participation, sportsmanship, leadership and socialisation amongst students.
It is the aim of the Para Sport programme to provide students with a disability the opportunity to represent their school and participate in sporting and recreational activities.
It is the aim of the association to provide opportunities for students to gain recognition for outstanding achievement through selection in representative teams. Representation can be honorary (swimming/athletics/cross country) or participative through carnivals and matches.
End of Year Function
The ACC aims at concluding each year’s activities by providing a social function for school representatives, sporting, physical education and support staff and special guests. Significantly it aims at expressing the concept of ‘Association’. Schools often take the opportunity to thank supporting staff for assistance given to their participation. The occasion is also used to acknowledge the efforts of individuals.
